What is up with all this rain?

So it is flooding, yards falling and so much more. They let us go home from work early today cause they are painting and it is a real good thing they did. It flooded on 820 today and that was not pretty. There are several houses down the street that flooded today.

The pictures above are from a friend of mine neighbors house. She has the worst of it by far. They back up to Haltom High school. The ground is slowly breaking away and going into the creek. They got to meet with some senators today so hopefully they will know something in a week. President Bush has declared Tarrant county a disaster area and so hopefully they will get help.

Andrew and I are pretty safe. We (luckily) live on top of a hill. We see downtown fort worth from our house.

Well i just wanted to share all the craziness going on here in fort worth and all this rain. It is crazy to me. Maybe tommorow we can see a little rain so we can have a good 4Th of July!

Happy 4Th of July to All!!!

creative bone?

This is not the finished quilt but will work for now. If you dont know I got a little bit of a creative bone and decied to make my mom a quilt out of her moms dresses. My grandmother died this year and did not really have anything to leave and my uncle was going to donate her dresses to goodwill but I asked for them. I thought it would be something special that she would always have of her mom. Well my mom loved it (she even cried once she found out what it was made out of). I put it with her favorite color material and it turned out pretty cute. It is off at the quilters right now but it will be back soon and I will put more pictures up of it.

VEGAS

ECAMP

I went to church camp with our church. It is for going into 4th grade through going into the 9th grade. I taught 4th graders bible class at camp. It was so much fun and a great time to be with kids. I will try to get some pictures up so you can see how much fun we had. I am glad to be home and be in my own bed but you cant take away the great memories at camp.

Summer Spectular

Well We had Summer spectular here at our church it was great. My friend and I taught the 2 grade. He little boy is in 2 grade and they were a really fun age. We had the craft room and routed 3 times. There was a craft room, snack room and a lesson room. There were about 125 2 graders. It was a workout but alot of fun. After the rotation everyone of all ages went in to see the musical. It was great time with friends!
